THE LAW ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA (LPPD) CLARIFICATION TEXT

Pursuant to the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“LPPD”), your personal data may be processed by IHS Travel Tourism Services, in its capacity as the data controller, within the scope set out below.

  1. Personal Data Processed

Within the scope of the transfer, incoming, ground handling and corporate event (MICE) services provided by our company, the following personal data may be processed:

  • Identity details (name, surname, etc.)
  • Contact details (telephone number, email address, address information)
  • Request and message content
  • Flight and transfer details
  • Company details (for corporate clients)
  • Website usage data (IP address, cookie data, etc.)
  1. Purposes of Processing Personal Data:

 

Your personal data collected shall be used for;

  • Carrying out transfer and ground handling operations,
  • Planning incoming and corporate event organisation processes,
  • Ensuring reservation and operational coordination,
  • Conducting quotation processes,
  • Carrying out customer satisfaction activities,
  • Fulfilling legal obligations,
  • Conducting finance and accounting processes,
  • Improving the quality of the services provided by our company

in accordance with the personal data processing conditions set out in Articles 5 and 6 of the LPPD.

  • Our operational service providers,
  • Authorised public institutions and organisations,
  • Private persons or entities legally authorised

for the purposes of providing services and fulfilling legal obligations, in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the LPPD.

  • Telephone and email correspondence,
  • Contracts and booking forms,
  • Physical premises and digital platforms

 

This data is processed on the legal grounds of the establishment and performance of a contract, fulfilment of legal obligations, legitimate interest and explicit consent.

  1. Your Rights Under the LPPD and the Application Method:

 

As data subjects, you have the following rights under Article 11 of the LPPD:

  • To learn whether your personal data is being processed,
  • To request information if your personal data has been processed,
  • To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose,
  • To know the third parties to whom it has been transferred domestically or abroad,
  • To request the rectification of incomplete or inaccurate data,
  • To request the erasure or destruction of your personal data in accordance with the LPPD,
  • To request that such processing operations be notified to third parties,
  • To object to any outcome against you arising solely from the automated processing of your personal data,
  • To claim compensation for any loss suffered due to unlawful processing.
